Welcome to the City of Cottonwood Shores;   the home of "People, Parks and Prosperity"

Cottonwood Shores is a family friendly community located on the Highland Lakes chain with an extensive Parks System including a Nature Preserve, two boat ramps; one for Lake Marble Falls and one for Lake LBJ; both constant level lakes.  Come visit and you will decide to make us your home.

LCRA will lower lakes LBJ and Marble Falls for about eight weeks beginning December 30, 2018.  The lake lowering will conclude about February 23, 2019.  Lake LBJ will be lowered about 4 feet and Lake Marble Falls will be lowered about 7 feet to allow property owners an opportunity to remove debris, dredge and maintain or repair docks, retaining walls and other infrastructure.  All projects performed under LCRA's lakewide permits must be registered with LCRA before work begins.  For more information visit lcra.org/lakelowerings
